Our 2012 Referral Rewards Program with the motto “Pay It Forward” has been very successful so far!  Thanks to the support of our fantastic clients and agency friends, we’ve been able to donate hundreds of dollars to local charitable organizations. (Click here to read some of their Thank You letters.)  Thank you so very much for your referrals — we truly appreciate your support of our agency and the local community!

This month, in preparation for fall and the holiday season, please join us in raising funds for the Everett Christmas House.

Here’s what to do:  Simply refer a family member or friend to our agency for an insurance proposal.  When they call us, you receive a $25 Costco Gas Card as a token of our appreciation.  In addition, for each referral during the month of October, we will also make a $10 donation to the Everett Food Bank.

The Christmas House is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization in Everett, Washington that provides an opportunity for qualifying, low-income, Snohomish County parents to select free holiday gifts for their children age infant-18.

In 2011 more than 10,500 children, newborns through age 18, representing 3,630 families received gifts of clothing, blankets, toys and personal items during December when Christmas House opened its “store” for two and one-half weeks in donated space at the Everett Boys & Girls Club in North Everett. We serve children from families who reside only within Snohomish County.

History

Christmas House was founded in 1981 by Roy Fraser in his garage. Roy had heard of children in Snohomish County who had not received anything for the prior Christmas and was determined to change that. He established the first annual Christmas House and stocked it primarily with used toys and handmade items, which they refurbished and gave away to families in need. They served more than 100 children the first year. Unfortunately, Roy did not live to see the second Christmas House, but his memory lives on as we now look forward to our 32nd year, Christmas House 2012. The general format of how Christmas House functions has not changed over the years, just the number of families and individual children who benefit from his dream over two decades ago.
