St. Patrick meets the Cat in the Hat this year! Last year’s book drive turned out to be such a great success that we decided to do it again:
In honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday (and National Reading Month), you can be a “Lucky Leprechaun” to a local elementary student in need.
Simply drop off your donation of new or gently used children’s’ books at our office during the month of March. We are located at 10410 19th Ave SE in Everett, immediately south of Costco.
We will deliver the books to one of Everett’s public Elementary Schools at the beginning of April.
You don’t have to dig deep to find the many benefits of reading. Reading inspires, connects and improves IQ, and a good book can be an enormous booster for self-esteem and motivation. A reading mentor (like Nick in his amazing volunteer work for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Snohomish County) can be a wonderful role model.
Problem is, many students in our local public schools don’t have easy access to books at home. This is where our book drive comes in.
Your donation can bless a child with their own book to take home and enjoy.
